Conference location and local maps
The conference is held in the Conference Hall of the Central Building of the Faculty of Philosophy and Arts of the University of Zaragoza, in the university campus of San Francisco. The city council of Zaragoza offers a complete map of the city and the University of Zaragoza provides detailed information and maps on the location and access to the University campus.
National and international connections
The Zaragoza Airport has permanent connections by air in Europe with Frankfurt, Paris-Charles de Gaulle (Iberia), Milán-Orio al Serio, London-Stansted and Rome (RyanAir), and in Spain with Alicante, Madrid, Valencia, Santiago de Compostela, Almería, Lanzarote and Palma de Majorca. The airport is around ten kilometres from the city centre, which you can reach by taxi or bus.
Zaragoza is 1h 45m from Madrid by train (Renfe) and has good connections with the rest of Spain, Paris and Zurich. RENFE offers special discounts for the Ibersid participants.
Zaragoza has also good connections by bus with the main Spanish and European cities (Alsa), with Navarre and the Basque Country (Conda) and Logroño, Castile, Teruel, Valencia and the Spanish Levant (TEZASA).

Travel discounts
It is always possible to get even better discounts buying the tickets by web in advance (http://www.renfe.es). “Estrella” and “Web” discounts can amount to half the standard price.

Lunching and dining
All the Faculties and Schools of the University of Zaragoza have a university restaurants with cheap meals. There are many excellent restaurants that can be reached in less than five minutes walking in the near surroundings of the conference facilities, especially in and around the squares of San Francisco Square and Emperador Carlos V.
Car parking and urban transportation
If you come by car, take into account that the only traffic access gate to the San Francisco Campus is in San Francisco Square. Identification and previous accreditation is required for entry. So, if you are interested in parking in the university campus, send us with at least two weeks in advance the following information: driver’s name, organization, title, national identification number or passport, and contact telephone; and also the plate number, brand, model and colour of the car. If you come after 9:00 in the morning, please note that you can encounter parking problems.
There is also underground public parking in San Francisco Square, which you can access from Baltasar Gracián St. or Pedro Cerbuna St.
Zaragoza has a good urban bus service. Maps of the city bus lines are available online.
